Around the village
At AA Lord we are committed to helping you feel safe and happy in your own place. The Residents Committee coordinates activities and oversees many aspects of the Village operations, while the very active Social Committee arranges a wide range of activities and functions both within the Village and in the wider community.
Other less formal gatherings and get-togethers occur within the Village every day with residents making the most of the facilities available. A real community spirit exists with residents assisting one another with transport, shopping and gardening.
The Community Hall is also used for weekly Catholic and Anglican chapel services, Neighbourhood Watch meetings and is the local polling booth for both State and Federal elections.
