I have been in Ainslie for 14 months. I am receiving excellent care. The staff are helpful, pleasant, and friendly to both myself and my wife. The nursing staff are fantastic when I am unwell. The facility is clean and has magnificent views and is pleasant to live in. If you have to be in a nursing home situation, in my opinion this is the best.

The staff without exception are kind, caring, very professional, considerate, and thoughtful. My observations are that all residents are treated in this way, and nothing is too much trouble for them. I am not an occasional visitor but spend the greater part of daylight hours there daily and therefore well-qualified to make comment from the heart.

Montessori caring is a system of education aimed at people living with dementia, who seek to develop natural interest and activities in the same manner and behavior as they used to prior to cognitive decline. I feel incredibly lucky and grateful that I have been part of this caring unit in Memory Support. Our residents can partake in any activities like jigsaw puzzles, quiz, singing etc. as their preference with supervision or support is required. It is beautiful to see.
