Michael is an experienced finance executive with an extensive background in strategic leadership, budget and fiscal management, policy development, change management and corporate governance.
As a respected financial adviser, Michael has partnered with senior executives to deliver financial sustainability, strong governance, and high-level organisational performance in complex, highly regulated service environments.
Michael has previously held senior finance positions in the Department of Health, Treasury, and the City of Hobart. He is a Fellow Certified Practicing Accountant (FCPA) and Chartered Secretary, holding a Bachelor of Business from the University of Tasmania, and Master of Business Administration from Deakin University.
