Daniel Brewer is an experienced CIO with more than 25 years’ experience leading technology strategy and digital transformation across health, government, defence, and the not-for-profit sectors. He has delivered major programs that have improved community health services, including developing digital roadmaps, introducing AI-driven solutions, and leading the implementation of telehealth and data analytics platforms to support high-risk and remote communities.
Daniel’s career includes senior roles with Accenture, Lockheed Martin, and Leidos, where he led multi-million-dollar health and ICT modernisation projects for state government and defence. He is known for building capable, confident teams who can embed and sustain new technologies, and for ensuring that innovation delivers measurable benefits to patients, staff, and the wider community.
Daniel is dedicated to making healthcare at Southern Cross Care Tasmania better through the effective use of technology—enhancing services, supporting staff, and improving outcomes for the communities we serve.
