Today, Southern Cross Care Tasmania (SCCT) announced a proposed governance transition to Calvary Health Care, following the Archdiocese of Hobart‘s signing of a Deed in support of the move.
The proposal remains subject to regulatory approvals and completion of several required processes before any governance transition can occur.
The most important message for residents, clients and families is that nothing changes today. Residents and clients continue to receive the same high-quality care from the same dedicated staff, and SCCT continues to operate exactly as it does now while the proposal moves through the required approvals and processes.
“Southern Cross Care Tasmania has proudly cared for older Tasmanians for more than 50 years. This proposal reflects our commitment to ensuring the organisation remains well positioned for the future,” SCCT Chair Sonya Beyers said.
