Registered Nurses Vacancy
The following positions are available at our Residential Aged Care Facilities in Taroona (Mary’s Grange) and Lindisfarne (Fairway Rise).
2 x Full Time Registered Nurses
Permanent Day Work
Permanent Night Shift work
We have two (2) full time registered nurse vacancies at Fairway Rise in Lindisfarne, and Mary’s Grange in Taroona. If you have sound clinical knowledge, good communication
skills and you are committed to the provision of high quality care to seniors, we are interested in talking to you. The night shift role will be worked between Fairway Rise and
Mary’s Grange. The day work role will be based at one of our Facilities in Hobart and will be used to provide backfill for any vacant day shifts that arise at any of our
5 sites. Base Salary AUD $58753-$75103 per year
Casual Enrolled Nurses
Would you like the flexibility of working at any of our 5 residential aged care facilities in Hobart as an enrolled nurse? Salary AUD $28.09-$29.05 per hour.

Volunteering is a great way to make a difference in the lives of others and to meet new people and make new friends. Southern Cross Care has a strong contingent of volunteers and we always welcome more.
Any amount of time you can give is welcomed and of value in enhancing the wellbeing of our residents and clients.
A wide variety of skills are needed including driving, arts and crafts, music, gardening, assisting with activities and many more.

Special requirements for employees and Volunteers
Please note that it is a requirement of the Aged Care Act that all employees have a National Police Certificate that is no more than three years old. There are some serious offences that, if you have been convicted for one of these it may preclude you from employment or volunteering.
You will not be able to commence employment or volunteering until a suitable National Police Certificate is received. Southern Cross Care is happy to provide assistance in obtaining a National Police Certificate for our volunteers.
