World’s Greatest Shave

Heather Currant, Facility Manager at Ainslie Low Head, and 18 other Ainslie Low Head team members have joined forces as “The Buzzed Bunnies” to participate in the World’s Greatest Shave this year!

The World’s Greatest Shave raises funds for families with loved ones who are in the fight against blood cancer, and for research into ways to diagnose and treat blood cancer more effectively.

The Buzzed Bunnies will be shaving, cutting or colouring their hair on March 22, 2021. Enrolled Nurse Toni Miller had participated in the World’s Greatest Shave previously as she had someone close to her with a blood cancer. When Heather heard that Toni was going to participate again, she commented that it was something she had always wanted to do. And once word spread amongst staff, another 17 quickly put their hands up to join!

The Buzzed Bunnies aim to raise $5,000. If you would like to donate, please click here.
