Remembrance Day

The 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, the moment when First World War hostilities ceased on the Western Front, is universally associated with remembrance. Remembrance Day is a national day of remembrance dedicated to those who have fought and died or suffered for Australia.

Yesterday, Rosary Gardens Aged Care Home held a Remembrance Day service and observed a minute’s silence to remember all those who have died or suffered for Australia’s cause in all wars and armed conflicts.
